Yes. Participants can self-refer. Referrals can also be made by a family member, carer, support coordinator or health professional where appropriate consent or authority is in place.

Timeframes depend on the requested service, location, worker availability, required documents, risk information and whether a suitable match can be made. We provide a clearer estimate after reviewing the referral.

Participant preferences are considered during worker matching. We discuss factors such as skills, availability, communication style, culture, interests and any specific support requirements.

Yes. Before ongoing support begins, relevant service details should be documented, including the support being provided, responsibilities, rates, cancellation terms, privacy and how changes or concerns are managed.

Contact the team as early as possible. Applicable notice requirements and cancellation charges are explained in the service agreement and should align with current NDIS pricing arrangements where relevant.

You can speak with a team member, call, email or use the confidential feedback form. You may also seek help from an advocate or contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
